Dr Tan Khian Seng
and his wife founded Christian Growth Resources in 1982.They
began their ministry conducting seminars, conferences and
worship evenings for the Body of Christ in Singapore and
Malaysia. They also have their own Christian bookroom.
Dr Tan Khian Seng is the holder of three doctoral degrees in
the disciplines of Business Administration, Theology and
Psychology. He is a gifted Bible Teacher, Pastor and
itinerant speaker who has been involved in speaking
engagements such as "Marketplace Ministries" with Peter
Wagner, Ed Silvoso and Barbara Wentroble. He speaks
extensively in Asia, America, Australia and other nations on
subjects such as "Keys to Financial Breakthroughs", "Healing
Life's Hurts" and "Biblical Dreams Interpretation". He is
also a successful businessman. Dr Tan makes frequent trips
up to Peninsula Malaysia to teach at the local churches and
is available by invitation to speak in churches and prayer
groups.
Mrs. Sarah Tan was a successful business woman in the
secular world before joining the ministry due to God's
calling. She holds a diploma in prayer counselling and
psychology. She is also a gifted, intuitive intercessor and
minister to women who uses her own life as an example to
guide others towards God's healing and restoration.
Christian Growth Resources' primary responsibilities are the
world-wide distribution of Dr Tan's books and tapes,
conducting christian seminars and holding the
life-transforming "Healing Life Hurts" retreat. The ministry
is strongly supported by the fellowship, which comes
together for Saturday evening worship and wednesday prayer
meetings. Members of the fellowship also volunteer as
facilitators for the retreat and have diplomas in prayer
counselling from Honolulu University, Hawaii, USA.
